About Me
You may be telling me quite a lot about your life story when you book me for your ceremony, and I thought it would be nice to tell you briefly about some of my life's experiences.
With training and practice in Social Work, and Teaching at a secondary and
TAFE level in social studies and child care, I am also a family person with
three adult children who continue to inspire and support me. I also had a
period of running holiday units on Phillip Island which gave me valuable
experience in meeting a wide range of people.
I
participate strongly in community life, especially in the area of community
music, and I play viola with my local orchestra.
Participating in celebrancy seems to bring together many strands of my life
as I have seen how ceremonies, however simple, can become symbolic
statements of our beliefs and world views, being a memorable gateway to the next stage of our lives.
